The band, "CHIT!" has been together for over 10 years of the best mediocre rock and roll around.

Few lineup changes have happened over the years, and we have put forth a fine-tuned rockin machine. We logged in over 50 live shows in 2022, which included a headlining gig at "Winter Blast," Lincoln Park Fest and this years record breaking WRIF Rock 4 Tots shows.

The road has taken its toll sometime and lead singer Screamin Scott isn't a young pup anymore. The Band has been forced to announce the start of the 2nd Farwell Tour. The 1st started 10 years ago as a fluke. The Band continues to play all over the motor city as well as some new venues downriver also up north. The 2023 tour is already gaining momentum as shows are currently being booked. Hopefully, a return to Arts Beats & Eats to celebrate our 10 years together. John Witz is said to be a huge fan of the band or he might have misspoken being quoted at the time. So if you are looking for fun next year, make sure your party includes some, "CHIT!" Maybe will be coming to your town soon. Look for us at https://www.facebook.com/chittheband

Born in Mt Clemens, Screamin’ Scott has been a part of the Detroit airwaves for 30-plus years. With 40 years of experience in radio. When he’s not out on the streets for WCSX, you can find him devoting time to local charities with his, “Screamin Angels”; and for 16 years with Rock 4 Tots charity. And last 10 years with his local band, "Chit!." Screamin Scott likes to write about nostalgic Detroit area memories, classic rock, and local metro Detroit topics.
