  • Chad Grey Talks About Falling Off Stage

Last week, Chad Grey of Mudvayne took a tumble off stage during their set, as part of the tour with Rob Zombie, Powerman 5000 and Static-X.

Grey took to Instagram a few days later to explain what happened, saying that he stepped across the edge of the stage to put his foot on the barricade just as the crowd surged, moving the barricade from where he was stepping.

“My body went right on top of the barricade. Right into my ribs and across my sternum. I thought I was gonna piss my pants, it hurt so bad,” said Grey. No lasting damage was done as he got back on the stage and finished out the set and had a good laugh at the point that the band was in the middle of Not Falling when he took the spill.

After testing Quinn’s chops in the backstage rehearsal area, Lars Ulrich joked that Metallica was now a five-piece and the band gifted Joe a signed red crackle B.C. Rich Warlock afterwards. Netflix posted a video of the meeting on their Twitter account.
