Motley Crue and Dep Leppard have announced two intimate U.S. shows for February 2023 before they embark on their mammoth tour.

The rockers will rock Atlantic City, N.J., for two consecutive nights at the Hard Rock Live on Feb. 10 and 11. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

John 5 recently posted on Instagram guitar warm-ups playing and exercising his fingers to Motley songs. I think he’s more than ready to fill the big shoes of Mick Mars. Mick’s decision to retire from the band due to “the challenges with his health” makes sense. The band clarified that “Mick will continue as a member of the band, but can no longer handle the rigors of the road.”

John 5 is a native of Grosse Point, Michigan. He first started playing guitar at seven years old. John 5 resume is huge so far in his career, performing from David Lee Roth, Marilyn Manson, and Rob Zombie as well as 10 solo albums on his own. A great interview to check out is WRIF’s Meltdown, “Talking Rock Podcast.”

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx mentioned 5 on Twitter shortly after his job hire was announced. “He checks all the boxes,” John has also collaborated with Motley Crue in the past. Chances of the tour coming back around are probably slim to none, but you never know with rock and roll.
