  • Stuart Antis, Formerly Cradle of Filth Guitarist, Dies

    Former Cradle of Filth guitarist Stuart Anstis has passed.

    Anstis performed on 2 albums and 2 EPs with the band between 1995 and 1999. Lead singer Dani Filth took to Instagram for a tribute, saying, “Despite our eventual differences Stuart was an amazingly talented guitarist who brought a real sense of magick to everything he wrote in Cradle of Filth.”

    Antis was 48.

  • New Dio Documentary Coming Soon

    An officially sanctioned documentary on the life of Ronnie James Dio will release this fall, titled Dio: Dreamers Never Die.

    Financed entirely by BMG, Wendy Dio serves as executive producer for the film which, will feature interviews with Jack Black, Rob Halford, Sebastian Bach, Lita Ford and Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler and will see a limited-release on September 28th and October 1st at theaters worldwide.

  • Dave Mustaine Hints at a New Cover Song

    Last week Meltdown had Dave Mustaine on his Talkin’ Rock podcast, where Mustaine hinted that Megadeth is working on a Judas Priest cover for, “an Amazon project that they asked us to do.”

  • Pantera Release Tour Teaser

    While there are still no dates announced for next year’s Pantera tour, last Friday the band released a 12 second teaser on social media with Phil Anselmo, saying, “we’re taking over this town,” so hype is still high!

  • Randy Blythe Used to Beg Sing Eyehategod Songs

    Eyehategod front-man Mike IX Williams talked in a recent interview about the band’s 2016 U.S. tour, where Phil Anselmo and Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe filled in for him while he was recovering from a liver transplant.

    Randy is an old friend of ours. He used to beg us to sing one of our songs during the set in Richmond, Virginia, when we played there,” said WIlliams.

    Eyehategod will be performing at The Loving Touch in Ferndale on October 30th, with Venom, Inc., Ringworm and Cult of Lilith.
