The Internet is a wild place these days, TikTok specifically. You can go from being virtually unknown to a viral sensation overnight. I’m still trying to figure out how to make that happen.
We all know ‘Stranger Things’ was all the rage this year so naturally, anything associated with the show saw massive success. Take Ghost for example. A band on the rise worldwide, and all it took was someone associating this song with a TikTok video to send it into superstardom. The song was actually released 3 years ago and was never a radio single. You all know I’m a massive Ghost fan so when I saw what was happening, I was pretty excited. Frontman Tobias Forge admitted he didn’t even know what TikTok was while talking to Meltdown on his Talkin’ Rock podcast earlier this year. Click HERE to give that a listen. Anyway, fast forward to now, the end of 2022. The song is still all the rage online and Ghost decided to release a pretty bitchin’ lyric video so we can now all singalong to ‘Mary On A Cross!’
