Motor City Dan Campbell is celebrating his birthday today, and as far as this Lions fan is concerned, we should all celebrate! MCDC joined the Lions organization in 2021 and has been everything this team and fan base has needed. Look, his first season wasn’t great, but we all know the team was in a “rebuild.” The 2022-2023 season started out ROUGH. Fortunately, Aaron Rodgers was more concerned with getting high and talking smack than playing football and things turned around after the Lions took down the Packers in Detroit 15-9. I was at that game and even though the team wasn’t looking great, the energy in Ford Field was palpable.

I think Dan Campbell is to thank for the rejuvenated energy in the Lions fan base. After that win against Green Bay, the Lions went on to win the next 7 of 9 games and proved they were moving in the right direction. Dan has given us some incredible moments over the last two years between Hard Knocks and his press conferences, and I am ready to see what the team has in store this upcoming season. In honor of his birthday, let’s look back at some of the best Dan Campbell highlights in his football career!

The Detroit Lions are performing incredibly well as of late. Now, with five games left to play in the regular season, the buzz is at a fever pitch. The Lions beat the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday (Dec. 4), but they didn’t just beat them- they destroyed them. Okay, maybe destroy is too harsh a world, but it was a statement win.
