Detroit Lions Hashtag Changes, Watch Lions on the Big Screen
The Detroit Lions will play their first home playoff game this Sunday at Ford Field, and fans are getting pumped!
The game is set for 8:15pm ET against the Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams. There’s a wave of emotions going through the Motor City right now. Our former QB1 will return in what’s guaranteed to be the ultimate showdown.
There’s a few things happening right now in Lions Country. Previously on X (formerly known as Twitter) when you would use the hashtag #OnePride, the Detroit Lions logo would automatically show up. As we enter the playoffs, someone changed the official hashtag for the Lions. Fans can now use hashtag #ALLGRIT and the Lions logo will automatically pop up. It no longer works for #OnePride, but I fully plan to keep using it.
Watch the Detroit Lions in action on the big screen at Emagine Theatres!
Emagine Theatres are once again opening their doors to football fans across Metro Detroit, and this time around it’s free to get in! Seating is limited, so you will need to secure a ticket, but you can do that at the theatre box offices starting on January 14th at 5:00PM. Check out more info on tickets on the Emagine website.
During half-time, participating theatres will be hosting giveaways for all attendees. You can also grab yourself a cold Detroit Lions themed drink appropriately called “The Grit.” It consists of Corazon Blanco, Blue Curacao, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup, and Lemonade. They’ll also have 24oz light draft beers plus, the Smashbox Sampler Combo and Touchdown Combo.
It’s been an exhilarating season for Detroit Lions fans all across the country. We’ve tied the franchise record at 12-5, and this Sunday’s match up will be the first time the Lions have hosted a playoff game. I know I speak for every Detroit Lions diehard fan when I said, GOOOOOOOOO LIONS!!
Detroit Lions Super Bowl Odds 2024
The Detroit Lions are NFC North champions and in the playoffs. Next stop: Las Vegas. Okay, maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. But, there’s a real possibility the Lions could go all the way this year. Who wouldn’t want to lose to the Ravens on the big stage? Just joking, but let’s admit that the Baltimore Ravens are likely heading to the Super Bowl and seem very hard to beat right now. So, what are the Detroit Lions Super Bowl odds going into the postseason?
Some key things have to fall into place to make the Lions Super Bowl bound. Of course, the main thing is that we have to overcome our opponents in the playoffs. Throughout this season of my podcast, “The Squad with Anne Erickson,” we’ve talked about the best and worst matchups for the Lions. Several guests have commented on both the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers being potentially very difficult teams for the Lions to beat, based on each teams’ strengths and weaknesses. I would throw the Seattle Seahawks into that mix, too, since the Lions haven’t been able to overcome them in the Dan Campbell era.
Now, I do think the Lions could beat the Eagles. This isn’t the same team it was at the beginning of the season. All due respect to my Eagles friends, but there are holes in the team right now, and I believe that in the right situation, the Lions could beat them. Also, they have Matt Patricia heading up their defense, which is great for any team going up against them. Spoken like a true Lions fan, right? That said, I believe a Detroit Lions Super Bowl run would depend on the 49ers getting taken out in an early upset game. I think it would be difficult for the Lions to overcome the 49ers but not impossible. Now, let’s get into the real numbers.

Jade was born and raised in Detroit Rock City and grew up listening to Led Zeppelin, The Who, Tom Petty, etc. In high school she tried multiple different styles from cheerleader to goth but couldn’t do gymnastics and couldn’t get her eyeliner dark enough. She settled on jeans and a t-shirt, playing sports and making normal situations overly awkward. When she’s not making bad jokes on the radio you can find her shanking golf balls into the woods on the golf course and drinking beers at the bar. She has a strict two shot limit when it comes to tequila. Jade enjoys writing and talking about everything happening in Detroit Rock City, our Detroit sports teams, golf, and her fear of robots.
