‘Make Some Noise’ at Arts, Beats, and Eats 2023 (VIDEO)
Arts, Beats, and Eats 2023 is officially in the books and this year, the annual festival certainly didn’t disappoint. The weather was great, the food was delicious, and the music was rocking.
On Saturday, Collective Soul and Halestorm rocked the stage, and you can check out some photos from that further below. On Friday, I attended Arts, Beats, and Eats with 101 WRIF and decided to have a bit of fun with attendees.
At concerts, we love to play Tailgate Trivia with tailgaters before the shows, and I decided to bring that same flavor of entertainment to the festival. So, we played a game of ‘Make Some Noise’ with some people we met in downtown Royal Oak. How do you play? It’s simple. I ask a question, and the catch is they can’t answer with words…they can only respond with sounds and sound effects. It sounds easy, but you’d be surprised at how difficult it ended up being. Safe to say, hilarity ensued. Check out the video below!

I had an absolute blast making this video with my new friends at the festival. They were fantastic sports. It’s not easy to be put on the spot like that, and they came through like champs. Randy had me cracking up from the very start, such a character! Special thanks to Rob for holding down the camera.
Looking for more content like this? There’s a lot more where it came from. Such as a game of ‘Sublime with Rome (and Other Italian Cities)’ and a game of ‘Ahh It’s A Ghost!!’
Arts, Beats, and Eats is always the one of the highlights of Labor Day Weekend here in Detroit, and 2023 was definitely one for the books. The weather was great, the food was amazing, and they had awesome music acts from Halestorm to the Detroit School of Rock. I got to spend Friday watching the School of Rock perform on the Rock stage and they were impressive! Super cool thing they’re doing over there, and it seems to be paying off.
If you weren’t able to make it out on Saturday, don’t worry! I mean, yes…you definitely missed out, but we have your back. Meltdown put together a photo gallery of the night including performances by Halestorm and Collective Soul. For a moment, you can live vicariously through him and it’ll feel as if you were actually there in the crowd. Check it out below!
