Staff Picks: 5 Shows To Binge Watch from Jade
It’s wild times right now, am I right? Since we’re all social distancing and avoiding what I refer to as my second home (the bar) here’s my top 5 picks to binge watch at the moment:
Letterkenny (Hulu)
This is my favorite show possibly of all time. The dialog is quick-witted, the story lines for each character are fantastic, it’s absolutely hilarious and let’s face it, all the characters are hot. I’ve binge watched the entire series multiple times and will likely do it again during our corona-quarantine. The soundtrack is amazing, too!
McMillions (HBO)
Talk about wild times! This story has everything! Humor, mafia, Ronald McDonald! All 6 episodes are out now and it’s definitely worth a 6 hour binge.
The End of the F***ing World (Netflix)
Here we have a dark comedy about two high school kids who want to rebel and get into some messed up situations. There’s only two seasons and it’s a pretty quick watch. I personally love the soundtrack as well.
The Righteous Gemstones (HBO)
Starring Danny McBride, John Goodman, Adam Devine and more. The show follows “a world-famous televangelist family with a long tradition of deviance, greed and charitable work” and as you would imagine with this cast, it’s quite comical. I will warn you, there’s an above average amount of male nudity.
What We Do in the Shadows (Hulu/FX)
The show follows a group of vampires living in modern society similar to how ‘The Office’ was shot. It originally airs on FX and a second season is set to air starting April 15th. Do yourself a favor though and watch the movie first. There’s some tie-ins that only add to the ridiculousness of the show.
Those are my top 5 picks to binge watch while we’re all hanging out with our fur animals. Now, pitter patter, let’s get at’er!
