This huge storm is coming, and the National Weather Service and Michigan State Police are saying people should get their holiday errands and travel done early. Those planning to be on the road should also be ready for hazardous travel conditions if they are determined to travel on Friday or Saturday.
“Try to complete travel, errands, and Christmas shopping by Thursday evening as conditions will deteriorate rapidly with the arrival of a major winter storm,” the National Weather Service meteorologists said Wednesday (Dec. 21). “Be prepared for the possibility of blizzard conditions Friday and Friday night.”
According to the NWS, “Roads will likely become slick after 5 p.m. Thursday at the Lakeshore, 6 p.m. along U.S. 131, and 8 p.m. along U.S. 127. Roads on Friday morning will be snow-covered and slippery.”
Screamin's Top 5 2022 Rock Songs
My list of 2022’s best songs includes big names and not-so-big names. It’s been a great year for rock music.
Remember that Gene Simmons statement that rock and roll is dead? No way. This year, the women sure came out in full force- I think even out rocking all the guys this year. Lots of great concerts with full bands stacked on the bill. Also, there were some cancellations and discussions of out-of-control ticket prices. Here are my favorite songs of 2022.
Born in Mt Clemens, Screamin has been a part of the Detroit airwaves for over 29 years with 26 at WRIF and 3 years as a morning show host at Z-Rock.
When he’s not out on the streets, you can find him in his game room, where he collects jukeboxes and classic pinball machines. Screamin also devotes time doing local charities with his, "Screamin Angels"; and for 15 years with Rock 4 Tots charity.
“CHIT” is his local cover band for 10 years all over the Motor City in local bars and has graced the main stage at local festivals like Arts, Beats & Eats warming up for national acts like Cheap Trick, Guess Who & even Salt & Peppa. Screamin’ is the lead singer and also plays cowbell & lead triangle
