Debuting 31 years ago on Sept. 17, Guns N’ Roses’ epic Use Your Illusion I and II was released, and both reached No. 1 and 2 on the Billboard top 200 charts. Some of the memorable tunes were “November Rain,” “You Could Be Mine” and Bob Dylan’s “Knocking on Heaven’s Door.” Any Guns fan will have hours of extras packed into this epic release. I remember buying Vol. 1 first in its long cardboard release. I had to wait for my next paycheck to get Vol. 2.
