Ozzy Osbourne’s latest album, Patient Number 9, has songs with Taylor Hawkins drumming, but a new report has told us that there are extra recordings unreleased with Taylor Hawkins on them.
According to Ozzy’s producer, these are going to be used for something down the road. Taylor Hawkins passed away back in March. Ozzy even dedicated the new album to Taylor.
The new album is fantastic, with a treasure trove of great all-star players including Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, Zakk Wylde, Mike McCready, Duff McKagan and more. I find this new Ozzy album to be the best album he’s released in years. I ordered the new album on special gold vinyl, which includes the McFarlane comic book, which is a bonus. I just hope this isn’t the last effort, and maybe we’ll get lucky with the tour, but I’m not pushing my luck too far. I’m just happy the Prince of Darkness is still among us.
