Another star studded tribute happened in L.A. for the late Taylor Hawkins last night. Besides the epic lineup, a highlight was the appearance of Nikki Sixx and Tommy Lee from Motley Crue.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the place, as the boys pumped the power ballad “Home Sweet Home” in Taylor’s honor. Both Tommy and Nikki had many years of friendship with Taylor Hawkins. Nikki played in Taylor’s cover band which had the coolest name ever, “Chevy metal.” How cool is that? Tommy Lee had the pleasure with Taylor to be kicked out of a party at Gwen Stefani’s house. What the hell do you have to do to get kicked out of a party like that on New Year’s Eve? Another definite highlight for the memory of Taylor Hawkins.
