Glenn Hughes and Doug Aldrich of the Dead Daisies were nice enough to jump on Zoom with me to discuss their upcoming album, Radiance. They’ve released three songs already, as we talked about the writing process of the record, if the pandemic played into it and more. Glenn gives us a health update, as he recently fought off Covid himself and was forced to miss some tour dates. Doug hoped on a few minutes after we started, but also talked about the album, working with Blackie Lawless from W.A.S.P. (sort of) and playing with a legend like Glenn. There are some local Detroit ties to the band, which we also discussed.
