The first single is "Good Luck Trying." It has a very classic vibe, unlike anything the guys have done in the past. Give it a listen below.

Happy Birthday to Wyandotte’s District 142

District 142 in Wyandotte opened up one year ago today with a big grand opening. That night featured Uncle Kracker, Leigh and Nick from Pop Evil and more. Since then, they've filled the concert hall with all sorts of acts from country to rock.

WRIF has had the pleasure of hosting many shows at the historic venue. Most recently with the concert of Black Stone Cherry and Saint Asonia a couple of weeks ago. We've hosted Saving Abel, Saliva, Fozzy, Taproot, Jackyl, and many more.

If you haven't been to the venue, you don't know what you're missing. Great sightlines, an awesome upper balcony, and just a great overall experience. They did a great job refurbishing the old venue to make it a gem downriver.

One of the cool things about the venue, if you ever get a chance to see it, is the autographed wall in the backstage area on the second floor. Everyone who has played District signs the wall. It reminds me of the famous wall that's signed by hundreds of legends backstage at the Fox downtown.

A huge congratulations to Julie and her great staff on the success of the first year of live music in downtown Wyandotte. Everyone who has had the pleasure of seeing a show there has given the place a thumbs up. I can't wait for the next show I'll attend there. I know for a fact, that I'll see you guys for the Mr. Big show on May 30th.

Enjoy pictures of some of the WRIF shows from the past year, as we look forward to many more rockin' shows at District 142 in the future!

This was the first time I'd seen a screen like that on the stage at District 142. It really enhanced the entire show. Could a permanent one be coming??
