Local Emagine Theaters Celebrate Father’s Day June 15th & 16th With Some Great Dad Deals
The Canton Emagine Theater.
As some of you may know, I’m big at going to the theater to watch the latest movies, mostly horror movies. Yes, I’ve seen some good ones and ones I can’t even remember the names of.
I recently saw that Jeremy Renner watched a lot of horror movies while recovering from his accident. He said because he was in the ICU everyone was moaning. He said he might’ve been a little loopy, but these movies brought him comfort. His favorite movie? Barbarian. He watched several times while in the ICU. That movie takes place right here in Brightmoor, just outside of Detroit. He mentioned how he’d watch it and “out-moan” everyone there. HA!
Anyways, onto Father’s Day….
Emagine Theaters Will Have A Bourbon And Popcorn Special
I received a press release about what’s going on to celebrate Dad and I was immediately drawn to at least one thing…..the Bourbon and Popcorn Combo. What?!?! Here’s what the release said – Celebrate Dad with Bourbon and Popcorn Combo. Emagine will be offering a free small original 85oz Popcorn to anyone who purchases any Bourbon or Bourbon-based cocktail at the bar. Specialty-flavored popcorn is available for an additional fee. This promotion is available Saturday, June 15, and Sunday, June 16 at select Emagine locations in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin.
Pizza Deal For Dad At Emagine Theaters
They also have deals on Pizza, which is fantastic, by the way. More from the release – Bring the entire family to Emagine to celebrate Father’s Day. Anyone who purchases a Hasta La Pizza will receive $2 off the price of the pizza.
To purchase tickets, visit Emagine-Entertainment.com, use your Emagine App, or visit your local Emagine theatre. On-sale dates and times vary by location.
Eleven Movies That Could Be Good In 2024
I’ve stated this before, I love going to the movies. I probably watched between twenty and thirty movies in the theater this past year alone. As I write this, I’ll be taking my kids to see the Christmas movie, Die Hard tonight. They’ve never seen it before, and it’s playing on the big screen so why not? Gather the family and make a night out of it!
I picked my favorite, and least favorite movies of 2023 recently. There were some decent movies in 2023, but I’m hoping for better ones next year. I’ll be honest, there was a movie I saw in the theater last year that was so bad, I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to go see it.
Below are some movies coming to big and small screens next year that I might have to go and see. There’s only a couple horror movie out of the bunch, my personal favorite, so far, Hopefully more will be announced soon. You have your action movies, some additions to classics, a Ryan Reynolds movie that looks really intriguing and another in a franchise he stars in, and many more.
I tried in incorporate movie trailers were I could, not all of them have previews out as of yet.
