It's another Wednesday, and another dive into my record collection on The Vinyl Frontier.
This week, it's a band that I was turned onto by my friend, Nick over at Rock City Music Company in Livonia. Check out this killer southern rock band, with a little bit of a modern slant.

The Late Great Tawny Kitaen. Tawny was the original Video Vixen. She cement her place in MTV history dancing on David Coverdale's Jaguar in Whitesnake's "Here I Go Again" and "Still of the Night" in 1987. She was already a familiar face to rock fans because she was featured in Ratt's "Back for More" video in 1984. She was also the model on the cover of Ratt's 1983 self titled debut album and the band's 1984 album "Out of the Cellar". Tawny continued to act and even did some reality TV. Sadly the flame haired vixen passed away in 2021 at the age of 59.
