Tomy Iommi doesn’t like KISS. “I don’t particularly like KISS. They’re not my type of band at all. Their stage show was done long before by Arthur Brown,” the Black Sabbath guitarist simply said in an interview with Gibson. Iommi also said he found it funny that they’d run across KISS in airports and, without their make up, they’d wonder if it was the band or the crew.
Iommi also recalled one time when Black Sabbath opened on KISS’s “Sabotage” tour in 1975-76 and replacing the letter “K” in “Kiss” on a marquee with a “P.” Hysterical!
