I’ve been looking forward to this one for a while. Typically, I’m a pretty big fan of Rob Zombie movies. Lords Of Salem is that exception.

3 From Hell is the third installment of the Devil’s Rejects/House Of a 1,000 Corpses series. In the usual Zombie fashion, this movie is filmed to make it look as though it’s straight out of the 70’s, or in the case, the 80’s. The audio wallpaper is something out of a classic rock nightmare, which is also a staple of any Zombie flick. He shot this film in 20 days at a budget of just 3 million dollars.

The movie finds the 3 (with one major exception which is explained early on) trying to escape the law and leaving a trail of destruction in their wake – like the family tends to do. A fun thing to do when watching this movie, is to figure out who the actors are playing the characters. Dee Wallace and Clint Howard were two who escaped me. Trust me, there’s enough blood, gore, nudity and swearing to go around.

Overall, if you like Zombie’s twisted movies, you’ll like this one. I thought it was decent and will give it 3 1/2 bloody knives out of 5. I think you’ll dig it……
