Billy Corgan Eating On Stage During The Smashing Pumpkins Show (Video) – Meltdown
The world might be a vampire according to Billy Corgan, but one thing's for certain: "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" doesn't suck.
The Smashing Pumpkins played the LCA last week, and if you were there you might’ve noticed Billy Corgan eating on stage during the drum solo. At the time I thought it was a little strange, but kinda dismissed it. Well, someone has given what they think is the reason for such a weird on stage habit.
“Eating greasy chips is actually an old recording studio trick for singers,” a fan commented on a recent story. “It can help lubricate the vocal cords.”
I mean, that could be the reason, I don’t know. All I do know is that I’ve been to tons of concerts and never seen anything like that before. Drinking beers on stage, yes. Jack Daniels, yes. Simulated sex moves, yes. Eating chips, no.
One of my thoughts is that he looks less than impressed with what’s going on onstage. LOL
What about you?

Looking Back at the Smashing Pumpkins Reunion Tour in 2018
Two years ago this week (August 5, 2018) the Smashing Pumpkins treated us to a performance at Little Caesars Arena as part of their ‘Shiny and Oh So Bright’ reunion tour. The reunion lineup featured original members Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlin (minus D’arcy Wretzky). The Pumpkins crushed it with a 32 song set that included covers of David Bowie, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin and of course their biggest hits from over the years. Were you at the show? What were your thoughts?
