5 Songs That Would Fit Right Into Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater
We recently learned that Tony Hawk Pro Skater is seeing a remaster this fall. We also recently learned that Trapt will not be in the Tony Hawk Remaster even though they weren’t in the original. While the details around that story are ludicrous it led me down a very interesting mental rabbit hole. I checked the online wiki and discovered Blink 182 had never been in a single Tony Hawk game! With all that in mind, here’s 5 songs I think would add to an already stacked soundtrack:
Blink 182 – Feeling This
HOW HAVE BLINK 182 NEVER BEEN ON THE SOUNDTRACK TO A THPS?? Is there beef between Blink and “the Hawk”? I think this track would easily remedy that situation.
Badflower – xANAx
They would have to do an amount of cleaning up on the lyrics to this song we havent seen since the Dead Kennedy’s Police Truck was included in the original. But it would be worth it to land some sick tricks during the chorus hook.
Bad Cop/ Bad Cop – Womanarchist
What’s a THPS without some punk rock? I was introduced to this band by some friends a few years ago and think this track would fit right in.
Highly Suspect – Look Alive Stay Alive
I unabashedly love Highly Suspect’s second record The Boy Who Died Wolf and this deep album cut always gets my blood pumping.
Clutch – Electric Worry
THPS has been a game about all sorts of music, not just punk. Over the years the soundtrack has included Johnny Cash, Public Enemy and the first game even included Primus. It seems like an oversight that ANY Clutch song, much less this one hasn’t graced the series.
