Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne’s marriage has been in and out of the headlines over the past couple of years due to Ozzy’s affairs, but this new tale of how Sharon got Ozzy to admit he was cheating on her is definitely one way to get news outlets talking.

In an interview with U.K’s The Sun, Sharon admits to drugging Ozzy with extra sleeping pills to get him to spill the details on his affair.

“I was a broken woman,” said Sharon.  “He sent me an email that was meant for one of his women.  Then he took his sleeping pills. I put an extra two in his drink…and asked him everything, and everything came out.  He would have never told me the truth, ever…Ozzy told me it was over with this woman and I believed him. Then, six months later, I found out it wasn’t and there were others.”

After it was discovered Ozzy was having multiple affairs, he went to rehab to seek treatment for sex addiction.

Most people would leave their spouse if they found out they were cheating to this extent, so why did Sharon stay, even after she and Ozzy briefly separated?

“Nobody is going to want to ask me out. Who would ask me out? A big-mouth, older woman?” said Sharon.  “This is as good as it gets and I love him. He’s my husband and I have to take care of him and you just become this woman that takes care of this person and this is my life. This is what I do.”

Sharon and Ozzy certainly have one of the longest marriages in rock history, but even couples that have been together for longer may not have lasted if they went through something like this.

One thing is for certain:  If that Sharon and Ozzy biopic about their relationship actually happens, we hope it covers more than just their early years because some of the things that have happened in the last decade would make for an incredibly compelling movie.
