Surprise! TLC’s Darcey Silva And Georgi Are Officially Married
After waiting (not so patiently) for years, Darcey Silva is a married woman. Darcey manifested her dreams and married longtime on again off again boyfriend, Georgi Rusev on November 11th.
Now, that date should be familiar to those who have been following the TLC star since she first appeared on “90 Day Fiancé.” Darcey, and her twin sister Stacey, have a thing for 11:11. They’re constantly sharing it on their social media, and encouraging their followers to make a wish and manifest their dreams.
Darcey Silva Ties The Knot
So, it’s only fitting that Darcey got married on 11/11. Darcey and Georgi first met at a Super Bowl party in Miami back in February of 2000. They then spent some time quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic. They got engaged…then called it off…engaged again…called off again. Evidently, they got engaged again as they are now officially a married couple.
Darcey took to her Instagram to say, “I’m thrilled to share that Georgi and I got married on our special day of November 11th.” It was accompanied by a (potentially filtered(?)) photo of the couples hands wearing their rings. Silva continued, “I’ve been on a long journey to find love, and in the end, love wins. I’m so blessed for you all to be a part of my journey in life, love, and happiness. Thank you for all the love and support! Stay tuned.”
A 90 Day Fiancé Wedding
The wedding came as a surprise to the public, because the last we saw of the couple they were constantly fighting and Darcey was demanding Georgi move on throughout Season Four of her TLC show, “Darcey & Stacey.” However, some fans seem to be calling their bluff. Rumors on Reddit seem to be alleging that the couple had been together that entire time. As a viewer of the show, I don’t think that’s the case. Darcey was very upset at Georgi and I don’t think she was acting. I think if the two of them were actually together during the filming of the show, they would have went through with the “Twin Wedding” and got married alongside her twin Stacey and husband Florian.
Darcey has long been a stand-out and favorite from the “90 Day Fiancé” franchise. She’s chaotic, outrageous, but still likable and relatable. Whatever it is, it makes for great TV. The internet seems to be drawn in, as well. Lately, there’s been a cry on social media and Reddit to try to get Darcey, and sister Stacey, to calm down on the alleged plastic surgery and filters she continues to use on Instagram. However, if she’s happy inside that’s all that matters. She’s now a married woman, and we know that has been something she’s desired for a long time. I’ve always liked Georgi, and wish the newlyweds nothing but the best in their future together!
