Girl Scout Troops Swims Away From Charging Alligator on Camping Trip in Texas
Scary moments for a Girl Scout troop in Huntsville, Texas who were on a camping trip. They were swimming around in a lake when the fun turned to terror as a 14-foot alligator began charging at them in the water. You see the alligator swimming toward the troop as adults and the kids all try to flee. Everyone was able to exit the water safely and in-time before the alligator was able to make contact. You can hear the commotion and panic in voices of the children and adults a-like as they exclaim, ‘This is an emergency!’. Alligator attacks are rare in Texas and the swimming area as since been closed for safety reasons.

Adults at the scene quickly intervened to prevent a tragedy at Lake Raven, Huntsville State Park.
