TURN VINNIE PAUL’S HOME INTO A HEAVY METAL GRACELAND
M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold kicks off tonight’s midnight metal news, but not because he has any updates on the upcoming album but because he took to twitter last week with an idea on how to crowdfund the purchase of the late Vinnie Paul’s home, which is currently on the market.
“Vinnie Paul’s house is for sale. The place was legendary by all standards and it will be a shame to see it bought by a developer or a non fan,” said Shadows. He suggested forming a decentralized autonomous organization of fans by having them purchase NFTs and then having them vote on what to do with the, “Graceland of Heavy Metal,” as he put it.
METALLICA’S NEXT ROUND OF RE-ISSUES
Metallica have announced that their next set of reissues will be from the dreaded Load and ReLoad era and they’re looking to the fans once again to help out.
“We’re looking for anything and everything you might have from August 1995 through September 1998: live photos (taken by you!) or snaps from a meet & greet, flyers, ticket stubs, backstage passes, and whatever other mementos you may have from that time,” said the band. You can send your submissions, even if they’re just an email about the reissues, to submissions@metclub.com
