Archaeologists Think They May Have Found the Very First Beer Bong

Have archaeologists found the very first beer bong? Let’s hope so. Let’s really hope so.
According to Inverse.com, back in 1897, a Russian archaeologist named Nikolai Veselovsky found some tube-like objects in a huge mound. He theorized they were a sign of high stature, scepters perhaps. But now, archaeologists think they were actually very old beer straws.
In a paper aptly titled “Party Like a Sumerian” published in the journal Antiquity, archaeologists say they are likely ancient beer bongs. Check out more information via Inverse.com here!
