Saquon Barkley Trolls The New York Giants In Hilarious Ad
The internet is calling Saquon Barkley savage for an ad he stars in trolling the New York Giants. You absolutely love to see it.
Saquon Barkley made a name for himself at Penn State where he was an absolute beast. This led to him being drafted 2nd overall by the New York Giants in the 2018 NFL Draft. He continued the success he saw in college in the pros while dealing with some injuries. Regardless, it was clear he was one of the best running backs in the league. Then, last offseason, the Giants made a huge mistake by letting Barkley explore Free Agency where he ended up signing with the Philadelphia Eagles–an in-division rival of the New York Giants.
Saquon Barkley Trolls John Mara And The New York Giants In Ad
During the offseason drama, which was documented with HBO’s Hard Knocks: Offseason, Giants owner John Mara made a comment about how he’s going to lose sleep if Saquon ended up going to the Eagles. Well, how are you sleeping now, John? His biggest fear came true and then some because Saquon Barkley had a career year with the Eagles, nearly beating out the all-time rushing record held by Eric Dickerson. Now, Barkley is appearing in an ad for Unisom where he’s apparently calling out Mara’s comments saying, “I heard some of y’all had trouble sleeping, so I wrote a lullaby.” He then goes on to troll the Giants and Mara in a subtle way over the comments. Ouch! Direct shot landed. There’s no doubt what he’s referring to in the video and Giants fans have to be absolutely destroyed. They really should have kept him on the team. They made a huge mistake. Instead of keeping his talents, they opted to let him explore Free Agency and could have easily signed them if they didn’t give that money to quarterback Daniel Jones who, by the way, is no longer even on the roster. Brutal. Now, the Giants are left scrambling heading into an offseason where they were close to having the number one overall pick but then beat the Indianapolis Colts in which they lost the number one pick which they really needed. Now, where do they go from here? Lots of questions and they let the answer walk. Again, ouch. Clearly, he isn’t planning on letting them forget any time soon. Kudos to everyone involved in this ad, it definitely hit the mark.
