Impractical Jokers Star Sal Vulcano On The TV Show, His Career And More
Sal Vulcano is coming to Detroit in February, but first, he talked to me about Impractical Jokers, his career, and lots more.
His new standup special is on YouTube. “I just released my first stand-up special, “Terrified,” on YouTube. I announced the tour with the special, so I’m getting a head start. By the time I’m done, I’m sure I’ll hit around 100 cities.”
I was shocked to find out this was his first special. “I’ve been doing comedy for a long time but never had the time to do a special because the show is so time-consuming. I finally got a six-month break between seasons to do it. It’s called “Terrified,” and it’s on YouTube now. This tour, “Everything’s Fine,” is 100% new material.”
Sal Vulcano On Impractical Jokers
Impractical Jokers is in its 11th season, currently on TBS. “We’re on TBS now, which is a lot bigger. We’re finding a new audience. We’re filming the last day of season 11 on Wednesday and have signed for season 12.”
I asked if Sal gets recognized in any random places. “All the time. I remember someone recognizing me in the ocean in Fiji on my honeymoon. It’s a blessing and a curse.”
