Frankenmuth Soon Will Have the Largest Indoor Water Park – Screamin’ Scott

Temperatures in the ’20s make me want an indoor water park more than ever. The last indoor water slide I ever went to was the one they had at Lakeside Mall in the ’80s. Currently, there are about 20 around the State of Michigan. Get ready to add one more soon.

Frankenmuth soon will have one that’s out of this world- 140,000 square feet of fun. Frankenmuth’s Bavarian Inn Lodge will have one of the biggest water parks around. Its new $80-million expansion will add over 100,000 square feet to its indoor water park and family entertainment. Four pools, three whirlpools, and two water slides plus a family fun center with indoor miniature golf, lots of video games.

The construction process will kick off on Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. Guests will be able to fully enjoy the water park and more by spring 2024. Have no fear as you will never see this guy in a speedo. But can’t say the same for James from Dave & Chuck the Freak’s morning show on WRIF.

Born in Mt Clemens, Screamin has been a part of the Detroit airwaves for over 29 years with 26 at WRIF and 3 years as a morning show host at Z-Rock. Screamin also devotes time doing local charities with his, "Screamin Angels"; and for 15 years with Rock 4 Tots charity. “CHIT” is his local cover band for 10 years all over the Motor City in local bars and has graced the main stage at local festivals like Arts, Beats & Eats warming up for national acts like Cheap Trick, Guess Who & even Salt & Peppa. Screamin’ is the lead singer and also plays cowbell & lead triangle
