Pipefitters Local 636 Is Hiring

Pipefitters Local 636  brings so much to the job with pipefitting, welding, and HVAC service technicians. 101 WRIF listeners can now apply to join the Detroit Pipefitters Local 636 Union. They offer an apprenticeship with a “learn while you earn” 5-year program with on-the-job experience, working with a pipefitter journeyman and working anywhere from schools and hospitals to steel mills, compressor stations, and refineries. Apprentices will become certified in pipefitting, welding, valve repair, safety, and more. Pipefitters Local 636  is now accepting applications. Applications are accepted June 9-28.
