Cookies on the Ice: Blackhawks vs Sesame Street

In December of 1975, history was made on the ice. There was no bloodshed, but there were cookies and ruffled feathers. The Chicago Blackhawks took on the gang from Sesame Street. Cookie Monster was the goalie. It was a rough game for him because he was in the depths of his cookie addiction. Big Bird was all hopped up on birdseed and clearly wanted to throw gloves every chance he got. Honestly the Blackhawks blew this game. It’s like they didn’t even try. Should have played the Redwings instead! The 70’s were a weird time.
