An Irish museum is opening a new exhibit dedicated to the life of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

It’s called “Growing Up Kurt Cobain” and includes items like the green striped shirt Kurt wore in the “Smells Like Teen Spirit” video.  It will also feature handwritten lyrics and sketches, childhood awards, and even Cobain’s old car – a 1965 Dodge Dart that is believed to be the only car he ever owned.

The items were donated by Cobain’s family, who chose Ireland in part because of the Cobain family’s Irish heritage.  Kurt’s mother, sisters, and daughter Frances Bean will all attend the grand opening in July.

Recently, a Kurt Cobain exhibit in Cobain’s hometown of Aberdeen, Washington, was damaged in a fire.
