Rock and roll's "Prince of Darkness" is maybe having second thoughts about leaving America. A few months back in September, he made an announcement that he and his wife are packing up and leaving the United States. Sharon and Ozzy cited gun violence as one of the main for the move, saying he was "fed up with people getting killed every day."

According to Sharon, they haven't yet officially moved back to the U.K. because "our house isn't ready yet. We've had our family house for over 30 years but we haven't lived in it so long," she explained. "And you go back and you go, 'Oh, it's falling apart.' And so we're redoing it. And then we will move."

Ozzy has a different take now on the moving issue and has said, "I’m getting a bit of flak from people. To be honest with you, if I had my way, I’d stay in America. I’m American now." Patient Number 9 is the 13th solo studio album by Ozzy Osbourne. It was released in September and is being well-received by critics. But will Ozzy take the stage? I think he will but on a limited basis. The idea of a huge Ozzfest-type tour I think will never happen again. Who knows what will happen? I've been in this business long enough to never underestimate Ozzy and Sharon.

Born in Mt Clemens, Screamin’ Scott has been a part of the Detroit airwaves for 30-plus years. With 40 years of experience in radio. When he’s not out on the streets for WCSX, you can find him devoting time to local charities with his, “Screamin Angels”; and for 16 years with Rock 4 Tots charity. And last 10 years with his local band, "Chit!." Screamin Scott likes to write about nostalgic Detroit area memories, classic rock, and local metro Detroit topics.
