2022 Rock 4 Tots RECAP – Screamin’ Scott
This past weekend’s WRIF’s Rock-4-Tots fundraiser raised a total of $26,386 as well as THOUSANDS of toys for our “No Child Without a Christmas” program.
So grateful to everyone who donated raffle items, who attended, all of the awesome bands that performed, as well as the businesses that donated, including Speed Clean Services which donated a bunch of toys again. Special Shout out to everyone at Freddy’s Bar & Grill for hosting this great event. And special thanks go to our awesome Rock-4-Tots volunteers and organizers who spend all year putting on a great event year after year.
Toys collected for R4T
My special thanks to all the local musicians who donated their time to play this year. We start taking submissions on the Rock 4 Tots page https://www.facebook.com/rock4tots Hardest part is getting the total amount of bands down to less than 60 bands over two days. The Toys collected are already on their way to homes this year. Two days of fun and magic this year. My thanks to Vince Mattias and the staff at Guitar Center who every year donates the use of what we call the “Back Line.” That’s all the drums, Guitar and Bass amps so everyone sounds awesome. Tip of the WRIF hat to Al and Tony at Freddy’s Bar for running sound for 2 days non stop with no downtime. 15 years strong of this wonderful benefit. So happy with our Rock 4 Tots crew for going over the top this year and smashing all records. Just wait for next year. I guarantee it will be a show that you can be proud of.
