Rex Brown to Miss the Rest of the Pantera Show This Year

b bassist Rex Brown has tested positive for COVID-19 and will be sitting out the rest of the 2022 Pantera tour dates. He tested positive before the bands show at Knotfest Chile and will miss a show with Judas Priest in Sao Paulo and Knotfest Brazil. Derek Engemann, bassist from Cattle Decapitation and Philip H Anselmo and The Illegals, will fill in for him on those dates.
Rex had this to say about his absence: “I caught a very mild strain of Covid, but because of our own protocols, I simply do not wanna risk getting my brothers or the crew sick!! I’m feeling better & am on my way to a speedy recovery. Merry Fckn Christmas & see you all next Year!’”
