  • Motöhead Reissuing ‘Iron Fist’

    Motörhead will be reissuing their 1982 album Iron Fist on September 23rd and ahead of its release have uncovered a promotional video shot for the album back in the day.

    The video, available on Motörhead’s YouTube page, features a previously unreleased instrumental, titled Ripsaw Teardown and you can check it out here!

     

  • Anthrax Cancel European Dates

    Anthrax, who just finished a U.S. tour where a few dates had to be cancelled due to a variety of health and safety issues, announced last week that all of their European tour plans had to be flat out canceled, due to logistical issues and high travel costs. Big bummer for fans in the U.K.!

  • Evile Guitarist Hosts Livestream Fundraiser

    Evile guitarist OL Drake announced a livestream for this past Sunday via his Instagram to help raise money for himself and his family.

    “Dedicating 20+ years of my life to music has taken its toll on me over the years. Not only physically and mentally, but also financially. It’s no secret that musicians struggle, and my family and I are in need of help as a result of the above,“ said Drake, who also shared a link to a GoFundMe page for fan’s that want to help.

  • Clutch Discuss New Album

    Clutch have announced that their next livestream on their YouTube page is set for September 17, one day after the release of their new album Sunrise on Slaughter Beach.

    Early reports are that the 9-song album clocks in at just over half-an-hour and, according to singer Neil Fallon, was an odd record for the band to make. “There’s a lot of instrumentation that is atypical of Clutch, like for example vibraphones, theremins, and backup vocals,” said Fallon and, when asked about the short running time, responded, “we recorded more songs, but we just thought we wanted to make something that was just right to the point where every song kind of represented a different flavor.”
