Happy Birthday to James Newell Osterberg Jr better known as Iggy Pop! Iggy without a doubt is rightfully the Godfather of Punk. His iconic band The Stooges were born in Ann Arbor Michigan back in 1967. Iggy and the Stooges instantly became known for their wild live performances. Front man Iggy Pop, who would often smear meat and peanut butter on his chest, perform shirtless and cut himself with glass. Iggy is also credited as the originator of the stage dive! Iggy is a total badass needs to be celebrated on his 75th birthday. Check out these wild performances and stories.
