An Early Exodus Demo ft. Kirk Hammet on Guitar
Al Beck and Albert the Engineer were talking about this early Exodus demo on the Inside the Circle Pit segment of this week’s episode of Midnight Metal!
This demo from 1983 is actually a live performance of the Exodus song Die By His Hand, which features Kirk Hammet on guitar, before he left Exodus to join Metallica! If the song sounds familiar, Hammet would later bring a version of this song over to the Metallica camp and it will become Creeping Death!
As Al and Albert mentioned on the show, the quality of the demo was just too poor to play on the air, so they opted to play another song from Exodus for the segment, but they still wanted to share the song with you, so give it a listen here!
