‘Tiger King’: Reports Say It Could Return For A Season 2
A number of British gossip sources are reporting that Tiger King may return for a second season.
Per The Sun, Carole Baskin is asking for seven figures to take part in a second season, according to their source. “Taking part in Tiger King opened up her private life and she wants to make sure it’s worth her while.”
Meanwhile, her arch-enemy on the first season, Joe Exotic, who is serving 22 years for plotting to kill Ms. Baskin, wants to take part in the second season, and to use it to help clear his name.
Joe Exotic (real name: Joseph Maldonado-Passage) is currently serving a 22-year jail sentence after being convicted of two counts of murder-for-hire, for plotting to kill Baskin. He was also convicted of 17 counts of animal abuse.
Brian has been working in pop culture and media for about three decades: he’s worked at MTV, VH1, SiriusXM, CBS and Loudwire. Besides working as a writer and an editor-in-chief, he’s also appeared on air as a pundit, guested on radio shows and hosted podcasts. Over the years, he’s interviewed the surviving members of Led Zeppelin, the members of U2, Beyonce, Pink, Usher, Stevie Nicks, Lorde… and is grateful to have had the chance to interview Joe Strummer of the Clash and Tom Petty.
