Are McDonald’s Snack Wraps Finally Coming Back?
Are McDonald’s Snack Wraps finally coming back? It sounds like it and that’s not all that’s making a comeback!
People have been waiting years for the McDonald’s Snack Wrap to make its return to menus nationwide. It was taken off menus back during the COVID pandemic because of supply chain issues and people have been demanding its comeback ever since. Some might say it’s just a crispy chicken wrap but those who know understand it’s so much more. Yes, other fast food joints like Wendy’s and Burger King have their own chicken wraps just like it and they’re good in their own right, but they aren’t McDonald’s Snack Wraps. Now, people are finally going to get what they’ve been waiting not-so-patiently for. The McDonald’s Snack Wrap is expected to return to menus across the country within the next year or so. So, there is still some waiting but there’s light at the end of the tunnel and I’ll take it!
Is The McDonald’s Snack Wrap Coming Back?
It sounds like McDonald’s has big plans for 2025 and chicken is expected to play a large role in the company’s plans. According to People, McDonald’s CEO Chris Kempczinski recently told investors during an earnings call, “We’re excited about the significant opportunity we see within our chicken portfolio and see the potential to add another point of chicken market share by the end of 2026. This year, there is incredible energy for the return of Snack Wraps in the U.S., along with a few other markets.” So, that sounds like we’re getting our Snack Wraps back in 2025, right?
The McDonald’s Snack Wrap isn’t the only chicken offering expected to make a comeback. A new chicken strip offering is expected to hit menus this year. That means the popular Chicken Selects are likely to make a return. With those, you’ll also get your Snack Wraps which are made from a smaller portion of the Chicken Selects. Kempczinski acknowledged the public’s demand for Snack Wraps and appears well-aware of how much we want them back. Hopefully, we won’t have to wait too much longer.
