What Are The Requirements For A City To Host The Super Bowl?
What are the requirements for a city to host the Super Bowl? A TikTok video is going viral detailing what it takes.
There’s a lot more that goes into hosting the Super Bowl than I had thought. I always knew there was some criteria that not every team or city can make happen. That’s why you don’t see a Super Bowl in the city of Chicago. The stadium is old and in poor condition and Chicago is quite frigid in the month of February. Add that with an outdoor stadium and that doesn’t sound like a great time for anyone—especially considering how much the Super Bowl experience costs. However, more goes into hosting the Super Bowl than weather conditions.
What Does A City Need To Have In Order To Host The Super Bowl?
The video was shared by @Whistle on TikTok and is now going viral online. Some of the strange things on the list include at least 3 very nice golf courses nearby. I guess that’s important with all the business folks coming to town and needing something to do during Super Bowl week. It’s not just about the game on Sunday. There also needs to be 20 free billboards for advertising and access to 2 top-tier bowling alleys. I’m not sure if I’ve ever been to a top-tier bowling alley. Never experienced that in my life.
Check out the viral video below! I never knew the list was this crazy!
