Unique Halloween Tracks for Your Spooky Playlist
Everyone knows “The Monster Mash” and the “Ghostbusters” theme song, but there are plenty of great jams out there that weren’t created with Halloween or ghosts in mind, but still perfectly fit the holiday.
Here are a few Halloween-appropriate songs for your Halloween playlist!
“Spiderwebs” by No Doubt
No Doubt isn’t really the kind of band you’d expect to crank on Halloween, with their pop-infused alternative rock delivery, but “Spiderwebs” works.
“Pet Sematary” by The Ramones
The Ramones rock this song, which was inspired by Stephen King’s book “Pet Sematary.” The music and lyrics make for a creepy Halloween-appropriate tune.
“Bark at the Moon” by Ozzy Osbourne
Of course the King of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne has plenty of songs that could fit on a Halloween playlist, but “Bark at the Moon” tops the list, thanks to Ozzy’s creepy croon.
“Hungry Like a Wolf” by Duran Duran
“Hungry Like a Wolf” is a catch ’80s anthem that will have you dancing at your Halloween bash. It certainly doesn’t have a spooky vibe, but anything that has to do with a wolf is perfect for Halloween.
“You’re Dead” by Norma Tanega
“You’re Dead” by Norma Tanega was featured in the TV version of “What We Do In The Shadows,” so it’s a very familiar track. With the repetitious lyrics, “You’re dead,” it just seems right for a Halloween zombie party.
