The dynamic duo of Robbie Landis and Ben Morse are back once again for another episode of the Other Identity. The Other Identity is a podcast dedicated to exploring the culture birthed by comic books. This weeks episode dips into the recent news in comic culture and Ben assigns Robbie to read Marvels Annotated.
It’s been a busy few months for comics and rumors within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Everything from the Guardians of the Galaxy allegedly showing up in Thor 4. To Charlie Cox reprising his role of Daredevil in the next Spider-Man solo film. Plus, New Warriors just launched a new team of teenage heroes and two of them are at the center of a debate. Psychically connected twins Snowflake and Safespace are just the latest additions to the Marvel pantheon of heroes. Some people think that the names are just a bit too on the nose may be virtue signalling.
Plus, Ben assigned Robbie to read one of his favorite stories in the Marvel library, Marvels Annotated. It’s a take on the creation of the Marvel universe through key events such as the appearance of the Human Torch, the X-Men and the first time Galactus visited earth. Ben loves it, but Robbie has some reservations…
