Steve Black’s Top 10 Songs from 2019
As we say goodbye to 2019 I offer my friendly neighborhood DJ picks for the top 10 songs of the year…and by top, I pretty much mean my favorites.
(10.) Last Day Under the Sun – Volbeat: Released as a single on June 13th and made it all the way to #1 on the Rock Charts.
(9.) Rolling 7s – Dirty Honey: A current single for the band and as of press time it is at the #18 spot and still climbing.
(8.) Do Not Disturb – Halestorm: Released as a single on July 20th and found it’s way to the #8 spot the Rock Charts.
(7.) Hurricane – I Prevail: This is the current single form I Prevail and as of press time it is at the #11 position and looks like it has a shot at #1.
(6.) Mind Your Manners – Slash Released as a single on August 17th and managed to climb up into to the #9 spot on the Rock Charts.
(5.) Die to Live – Volbeat Released as a single on November 4th and so far (as of this posting 12/30/19) it is at the 10 spot on the Rock Charts.
(4.) Whole Lotta Money – The Underground Thieves This slick song was released as a digital single and video – the full album will be coming soon.

(3.) Fear Inoculum – Tool Released as a single on August 7th and became the longest song ever to hit the #1 spot on the U.S. Rock Charts.
(2.) Lover Leaver (Taker Believer) – Greta Van Fleet Relased as a single on May 9th (although I enjoy this longer version myself) and topped out at the #3 position on the Rock Charts.
(1.) Too Bad – Rival Sons Released as a single on April 16th and worked it’s way into the #13 mark on the Rock Charts.
