More details on the new album here!
Speaking with Metal Hammer, Dave Mustaine also made it clear where he stands on the firing of bassist Dave Ellefson last year, saying, “I’ve forgiven him before when he sued me and I’ll forgive him a thousand times. I just won’t play music with him anymore.”

  • First New We Came as Romans Since Death of Vocalist

Local metalcore outfit We Came As Romans have announced their first new album in five years, ‘Darkbloom’ comes out October 5th. It will be the first new music since the loss of vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018.

  • The Mars Volta Release a New Single

The Mars Volta have a new single, their first new music in a decade, to go along with a reunion tour that comes to the Royal Oak Music Theater October 6th.

  • New EP from Spiritbox

Spiritbox have dropped a new 3-song EP called ‘Rotoscope’, ahead of their tour with Ghost and Mastadon, that starts in August.

  • Bands Banned at a WI Bar

A Facebook picture from Madison, WI’s Baldwin Street Grille has gone viral for the list of bands the Grille’s chef Paul Wildhoney refuses to play over the building’s P.A.. Pantera and Weezer are listed multiple times along, with Obituary, Type O Negative and Metallica as offenders that will not be played. Meshuggah, Gojira and Gatecreeper are also listed along with any other new commercial death metal band that sells skateboard decks and even deep genres like “white trash slam” and “pizza thrash” will not be tolerated. Wildhoney told Metal Hammer that the list was meant as an over the top joke and commentary on heavy metal elitism.

Whelp I never expected my extreme musical elitism that I enforce at my workplace to go viral but here we are. Head on...
