I’ve stated this before, I love going to the movies. I probably watched between twenty and thirty movies in the theater this past year alone. As I write this, I’ll be taking my kids to see the Christmas movie, Die Hard tonight. They’ve never seen it before, and it’s playing on the big screen so why not? Gather the family and make a night out of it!

I picked my favorite, and least favorite movies of 2023 recently. There were some decent movies in 2023, but I’m hoping for better ones next year. I’ll be honest, there was a movie I saw in the theater last year that was so bad, I wouldn’t tell my worst enemy to go see it.

Below are some movies coming to big and small screens next year that I might have to go and see. There’s only a couple horror movie out of the bunch, my personal favorite, so far, Hopefully more will be announced soon. You have your action movies, some additions to classics, a Ryan Reynolds movie that looks really intriguing and another in a franchise he stars in, and many more.

I tried in incorporate movie trailers were I could, not all of them have previews out as of yet.

Happy Watching – Meltdown

  • kingdom of planet of the apes - may 24, 2024

    This trailer looks killer!

  • godzilla X kong - april 12, 2024

Another huge, bombastic movie that you’d probably want to see in the theater.

  • beverly hills cop - summer 2024

Twenty-nine years after the third installment of Beverly Hills Cop, Axel Foley is back.

  • IF - may 17, 2024

There is a lot of star power behind this movie. Ryan Reynolds, Steve Carell, along with John Krasinski, who also directed it. Could be a sleeper movie to look out for.

  • madam web - february 16, 2024

Marvel-type movies aren’t my favorite, but this one looks like it might be worth the hour and half.

  • imaginary - march 8, 2024

I saw the preview for this one in the theater recently. I’m not huge on kids in horror movies, but I may have to check this one out.

  • ghostbuster: frozen empire - march 29, 2024

Not a lot is known about this one yet, but Paul Rudd returns and it could be good. Check out the trailer.

  • the fall guy - march 1, 2024

    This movie looks interesting.

  • terrifier - october 25, 2024

The first two installments of this series were dumb and fun. I really enjoyed them from an aspect of just shutting off the world and getting lost in a horror movie that you didn’t need to think much about. I’m an Art The Clown fan.

  • joker: folie a duex - october 4, 2024

I LOVED the first Joker movie. Joaquin Phoenix might be the best actor of our generation. This one also stars Lady Gaga, and I’m hearing it might be a musical. That doesn’t sound great, but I may have to give it a watch.

  • Beetlejuice 2 - september 6, 2024

With most of the original cast returning, this could be a good one for 2024. Plus, they’ll welcome Jenna Ortega to the mix. I’m a Tim Burton fan, so I’ll definitely see this one.

Michael Keaton attends the 28th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

The actor celebrates his birthday on September 5. He has played two iconic characters in movies, Batman and Beetlejuice. With iconic roles like that in the late ’80s, Keaton proved he still has great acting skills in the 2021 limited series, ‘Dopesick.’

  • deadpool 3 - july 26, 2024

Yes! I love this franchise. I am worried about this next film going from rated R to PG-13 though. Of course, I’ll be sure to watch it.
