Florida Man Found With Meth In His Underwear Tells Cops ‘There’s Nothing Wrong With Drugs’
A Florida man was reportedly found with meth hidden in his underwear. Reports say he told arresting officers, “there’s nothing wrong with drugs.”
The Florida Man in question has a unique appearance. He’s covered in tattoos and has several across his face. That tatted up Florida man has been identified as 41-year-old Thomas Carpenter. According to The New York Post, Carpenter was pulled over for a suspected traffic violation and then found evidence of drug use in his car. At the time, a woman and 2 children were with him in the vehicle. They ended up finding a ton of drugs hidden in his underwear. According to The New York Post, law enforcement found a bag full of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and possible methamphetamine in the car. Reports say he was fading in and out of consciousness while officers were trying to talk to him, per The New York Post.
The unidentified woman with him in the vehicle ended up admitting that they smoked marijuana in the car a little bit ago, per The New York Post. Officers searched them at the station and ended up finding 11 small sandwich bags filled with a crystal-like substance stuffed into Carpenter’s underwear, according to The New York Post. Officers ended up testing the substance and it was confirmed to be methamphetamine which weighed a total of 322.1 grams. While he was at the station, The New York Post reports that Carpenter told officers, “there’s nothing wrong with drugs.” Unfortunately, that’s not exactly true!
The New York Post says he has been charged with amphetamine trafficking or methamphetamine 14 grams or over, possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, smuggling contraband into a county detention facility, and 3 counts of drug paraphernalia. He previously served a 3 year sentence for a plethora of charges.
