Heated Debate: Is it NOT COOL to Bring a Great Dane on a Flight?
Is It Cool To Bring A Great Dane On A Flight?
We just did a story yesterday about an emotional support snake being found after a crash. Today, there is news about an emotional support Great Dane on a flight. Do you think it’s acceptable to bring your emotional support Great Dane on a plane, even if the airline says it’s okay?
According to NYPost, a debate has been sparked online after someone decided to bring their emotional support dog on flight with them. The problem is, the dog is a Great Dane. Now, the airline did approve of this happening, but people are still wondering if the choice to bring the world’s biggest dog breed aboard a plane is rude. The passenger did purchase an entire row, but many people still seemed to have a problem with it.
Instagram user @clearpath_coach shared a video of the Great Dane in their seat. You can see that below.
So, what do you think? Is it acceptable to bring a giant dog like this aboard a flight? There are a lot of things that go into this scenario. We can’t serve peanuts on planes because of people’s allergies, so what about people who are allergic to dogs? Some people are afraid of dogs, does that factor into the airline allowing the pup on the plane?
I understand that some people need emotional support animals but a Great Dane is a wild choice. And as a travel companion, it’s pretty crazy.
My sister-in-law had a Great Dane and that thing was like a horse in the house! The size of that dog is hard to describe if you haven’t been around one. The poops that it would leave looked like an elephant had dropped a deuce. So share your thoughts with us on Facebook, X or through e-mail. Is it cool to bring this size of an animal on a plane?
