Michigan Corrections Officer Get Busy With An Inmate?
Today, our ‘Hot Or Not?’ comes from the state of Michigan. We’ll be introducing you to Cara Wozniak, who’s a former corrections officer at the Milan Federal Correctional Institution just outside of Ann Arbor. We’ll give you the details behind the arrest below, and then you’ll assign a number 1-10 on how hot you think she is.
According to Deadline Detroit, Wozniak pleaded guilty to having sexual contact with a male inmate and smuggling contraband into the prison for him. Obviously, that’s a no-go as federal law and rules in prison prohibit contact like this between staff and inmates. Wozniak is 33-years-old and has been working Milan since November of 2022. Deadline Detroit reports that authorities believe 2 occasions happened in the fall of 2023 where Wozniak reportedly had intercourse with an inmate who was under her custody and control. Deadline Detroit also says that she bough pouches of loose tobacco for the inmate which she attempted to smuggle into prison for him. Deadline Detroit also says that in September of 2023 she purchased a gold necklace and secretly gave it to him in the prison. If convicted, she could face up to 15 years behind bars for the sexual contact and 6 months for the contraband. That’s some serious time!

Ison says in a statement via Deadline Detroit, “Corrections officers are entrusted with the critical responsibility of managing the security of our federal prisons. Ms. Wozniak’s conduct in this case was an abuse of that trust and created a security risk for everyone at the institution. Sexual contact between inmates and Corrections Officers is never acceptable, nor is the smuggling of contraband into prison.”
