A Carnival Cruise fight was captured on camera and is going viral online. The fight was between a big group of female passengers.

Carnival Cruise Fight Goes Viral Online

This Carnival Cruise fight is crazy! According to The New York Post, the brawl happened abroad the Carnival Paradise on the final night of a five-day cruise to Central America. Passenger Nick Richardson was on the cruise with his family and captured the viral video after witnessing the scene. He tells The New York Post, “I’m like, ‘It’s definitely gonna go down.’ It’s why I got it on video. Those girls were already set on what they were gonna do. It just got out of hand very, very quickly. And that’s how it happens. You’re just drinking too much.”

Cruises can be a good excuse to get a little silly. You’re on vacation, maybe you’re with friends or family and you want to take a load off and de-stress. However, you can’t cause a scene out in public! Enjoying a couple daquiris on vacation is one thing, but getting this drunk will usually lead to a problem no matter where you are–especially on a cruise. This is one reason I’ve never had any interest going on a cruise. You rarely hear good stories about them. Either someone gets super sick, there’s a fight, you can’t come to shore when you want, you never know! Remember those cruise ships that couldn’t dock during COVID and people were stuck on the boat? No, thank you! I couldn’t have that happen, I would lose my mind.

The trending video starts with a group of women arguing with each other verbally but it quickly escalates into something bigger. You can see one woman grab a chair and throw it at a group and that’s when it all really breaks loose. Richardson tells The New York Post that it seemed like they didn’t care that they were out in public doing this–they just kept going. In the video, you can even hear him attempt to de-escalate the fight by suggesting, “let’s all get some pizza.” You have to respect the effort.

According to The New York Post, Carnival released an email saying in part, “As is our policy, we will not tolerate such behavior and the guests involved were fined and will not sail on Carnival Cruise Line again.” As for Richardson? He’s excited to come back! The fight didn’t convince him to never go on a cruise again. In fact, he’s ready for the next trip! He tells The New York Post, “The entirety of the cruise everybody was friendly with each other, everybody was enjoying themselves. The Carnival made sure everyone was having a fantastic time. I don’t know this fight as a reason why I wouldn’t go back on Carnival. I already booked another one for this spring with my family.”
